Get your jewellery into shops

Six weeks, five makers, and the exact process I used to get stocked in 30 shops worldwide.

You already know your pieces would look right in that shop. Getting them there is the bit nobody explains.

You have walked into a boutique, looked at the shelf, and thought it. You have saved shops on Instagram. You have told yourself you will get in touch once the website is better, once the photos are better, once the collection is bigger.

What do I even say? Who do I ask for? Email or walk in? What if I am too small? What if my prices are too high? What if they ask me something about numbers and I freeze? What if I send it and nobody replies?

You are almost certainly more ready than you think. What you are missing is not confidence. It is the process, in order, with the materials to go with it.

Six weeks later you are holding a stockist kit

One you can use again and again. A shop owner has to understand your pieces, decide they suit their customers and work out how to order, usually while doing three other things. This is what makes that easy for them.

A lookbook

So a shop owner sees the collection and the brand behind it in one go, instead of scrolling your feed and guessing.

A line sheet and order form

Your range, your terms, your minimums. The document that makes you easy to buy from.

A shortlist of shops that fit

Not every shop. The ones your pieces actually belong in, and a plan for the order you approach them in.

A jewellery display cabinet in a light, plaster-walled boutique

Pitch angles you can reuse

Openers you can adapt for a boutique, a gallery and a museum shop, because they are not the same conversation.

A follow-up rhythm

What to send, when to send it, and what to do the day a shop says yes. So silence stops feeling personal.

The six weeks

36 lessons, in the order you actually need them

016 lessons

How shops actually think

Wholesale against consignment, markup, commission splits, and what runs through a shop owner's head when they decide. Plus the USP work that tells you which shops are yours.

023 lessons

Your brand, checked over

If a shop is interested they will look you up. Your feed does not need to be perfect, it needs to answer the 9 things a buyer looks for.

036 lessons

Build the materials

Product presentation, your lookbook, your line sheet, your order form, and choosing what to put in front of a shop first.

049 lessons

Find the shops

Where to look, how to read a shop before you contact it, how to warm one up, and what to have ready before you send anything.

055 lessons

Pitch week

You send them. Email, DM, in person, video. This is the week the work leaves your bench and lands on someone's desk.

067 lessons

After the yes

Stock tracking, delivery notes, invoices, reorders. The unglamorous part that turns one order into a stockist who keeps buying.

Megan Collins

In 2021 I paid an agency to get me into shops. Six months later they had brought in nothing.

They stopped answering me and kept about £2,000 of my samples. So I went back to doing it the way I had taught myself, and in one day of outreach, 9 out of 10 shops said yes.

My own pieces were stocked in shops, galleries and museum stores across the UK and abroad. Not because the jewellery was better than yours. Because I had worked out what makes a shop able to say yes: clear pieces, clear prices, and materials that answer the questions before they are asked.

What happened when they stopped guessing and started asking

Different stages, different countries, same six weeks. In the last group, all five makers are now stocked.

Stocked in 3 shops

Tara had reached out to shops before and heard nothing back. By pitch week her brand was stronger, her materials were ready, and she could answer what a shop asked.

Tara Ireland

Jo joined wanting to take the next step with wholesale. By the end of the six weeks a shop in Paris had placed an order, and it was not a trial one.

Maria started with 5 because she did not have the stock for more. 3 months later she was in 12 stores and had hired her first assistant to help make pieces.

A new mum building a part-time business from home. She did not wait until she felt established to learn what a shop-ready brand needed.

This is for you if

  • You make jewellery and you know it would sell in the right shop
  • You want a route to sales that is not only Instagram, your website or markets
  • You have 6 to 10 pieces that work together across a range of prices
  • You can make more when something sells out
  • You are willing to contact shops, even if it makes you nervous
  • You want to be walked through it step by step, in order

This is not for you if

  • You want someone else to do the outreach for you
  • You want guaranteed orders
  • You are not open to looking honestly at your pricing and presentation
  • Every piece you make is one of a kind and cannot be repeated
  • Your pieces take so long to make there is no room for a wholesale margin
  • You do not yet have the time to handle orders and make more stock

Before you book

30 minutes with me. I look at your pieces, your prices and where you are selling now, and tell you whether shops are the right next move for you. If they are, we talk about which of the 3 ways to join fits. If they are not, I will say so and point you somewhere more useful. There is no obligation either way.

Six weekly calls with me and 4 other makers going through it at the same time. You send your pitches in the same week they do. The group is capped at 5 so there is room for everyone's actual questions, and every maker in the last group is now stocked.

The lessons are self-paced and you keep them for life. The September group adds 6 live calls on top, one a week, starting Tuesday 1st September. If you cannot make one, the calls are recorded.

No. Week 4 is how to find them. Most makers arrive with a vague list of dream shops and leave with a real shortlist and a reason for each one.

No. A shop owner is not counting your followers. They are working out whether your pieces suit their customers and whether you look like someone who will be straightforward to order from. Week 2 is about making your feed answer that.

That is the most common way makers arrive here. Silence usually means the shop was wrong for you, the email did not give them enough to go on, or nobody followed up. All 3 are fixable, and Tara joined on exactly that story.

Yes, on all 3 options. Get Stocked is £997 or 3 payments of £397. The September group is £1,497 or 3 payments of £597. VIP is £2,497 or 3 payments of £997.

Work through the core steps, build your lookbook, line sheet or order form, and prepare your first outreach plan. If you still do not know what to send, email me within 60 days and I will review it and tell you what to tighten. It is a promise about your readiness, not a promise that a shop will order.

No, and be careful of anyone who says otherwise. What it gives you is the process, the materials and the shortlist, so you are approaching the right shops properly instead of hoping to be found.

This is a digital programme, so all sales are final. That is exactly why Group and VIP are sold on a call, so you are not guessing about the fit before you pay.

Your pieces are not meant to live in a drawer

The group starts Tuesday 1st September and there are 4 places left. Book the call and I will tell you straight whether shops are your next move.
